Quick answer: Roughly, a do-it-yourself day trip from south Bali costs about Rp900,000 to Rp1,600,000 per person, before the one-off Bali levy. Two nights is mostly boat plus accommodation; outside the room, budget roughly Rp300,000 to Rp700,000 per person per day for food, scooter and activities.
Lembongan can be a cheap island or an expensive one, depending on where you sleep and how you eat. The fixed costs are small: a boat, two levies and a ride from the beach. Everything below is in Indonesian rupiah, per person unless stated, and approximate, from published prices and what we saw in late 2026. Prices move with the season, so treat them as a guide, not a quote.

A day trip from Bali
Return boat, a transfer share, a scooter or truck, lunch and one or two activities come to roughly Rp900,000 to Rp1,600,000 per person, plus the island levy and the Bali levy if you haven't paid it already. An all-in organised day tour can cost a similar amount and saves the planning. Is a day trip worth it?
Two nights
Allow a return boat (roughly Rp300,000 to Rp800,000), two nights' accommodation, and about Rp300,000 to Rp700,000 per person per day for food, a scooter and an activity or two. Rooms vary the most: simple guesthouses away from the beach are the cheapest, while private villas with pools on the cliffs cost several times more. The areas compared.
A week
A longer stay lowers the daily cost: weekly scooter rates, cooking a few meals or eating at warungs, and rest days on the beach. Many people budget the same daily range as above, with one or two bigger spends: a day of diving, a Penida day trip, or a surf lesson.
When prices go up, and down
Some boat companies add a surcharge of roughly 20 to 30% in July and August and from mid-December to mid-January, and rooms rise at the same time. February to early April and September to October are often cheaper. When to go.
